Founded in 2022 by Laura Casales and Benjamin Perez, Fonte LB Casting unites two complementary heritages: the rigour of Montreal's School of Jewellery and the exacting standards of Parisian haute joaillerie.
We marry proven artisanal methods with the latest technology — because a perfect cast begins long before the crucible, and doesn't end until the mirror polish.

Six stages, one quality control — ours, at every one of them.
3D Design
Every piece is born in three dimensions. CAD modelling lets us design with precision, visualize and optimize your creation before a single gram of metal is committed.
3D Printing
Faithful prototypes and complex models, rapidly printed in castable resin. Lower production costs, more design freedom — including geometries impossible by hand.
Mould Making
Silicone or rubber moulds to reproduce your pieces identically — serial-production precision without ever losing the detail of the original.
Lost-Wax Casting
The wax tree is invested in plaster, burned out, then placed under vacuum: molten metal fills every cavity by gravity and suction. Gold, silver, platinum — a dense, porosity-free cast.
Finishing
Cast clean-up, pre-polish, mirror polish: every surface is reworked by hand to an even, brilliant finish, ready to receive its stones.
Stone Setting
Under the microscope, each stone is set with the technique that secures it and shows it best — prong, bezel, pavé. The brilliance, without the risk.

You may be wondering…
Can you cast from my STL file?
Yes. Send us your 3D file (STL, 3DM or another CAD format): we check printability, print the model in castable resin and cast it in the metal of your choice. It's the shortest path from your screen to a finished jewel.
How much does casting a piece cost?
Price depends on the metal (at the day's market rate), the weight of the piece and the services you choose. Use our wax → metal calculator to estimate the weight, then request a quote — we respond quickly with a detailed proposal.
Which metals do you cast?
Yellow and white gold (10k, 14k, 18k), 925 sterling and anti-tarnish silver (both nickel-free), and platinum — cast every Tuesday on a dedicated cycle.
What are your actual turnaround times?
Waxes received by noon: available the next day from 2 p.m. Standard production: 1–2 business days. Resins, 3D prints, moulds and large volumes: add 24 h or more. These are our published turnarounds — not adjectives.
How should I prepare my waxes?
Free of air bubbles, breaks and burrs. Sprue proportional to the piece, well positioned, with a feed path of about 1 in (26 mm). In doubt, bring us the piece — we'll look at it together.
Do you work with makers outside Montreal?
Absolutely. 3D files travel well — and so do pieces. Contact us to arrange secure shipping of your waxes, models or metals.
